Biography
Jacqueline Wang was born in 2014. She is a student at the Melbourne Conservatorium of Music, where she studies piano with Glenn Riddle. She is also a scholarship holder at Presbyterian Ladies’ College in Melbourne. Jacqueline has taken part in masterclasses with Pascal Nemirovski, Antonio Pompa-Baldi, Eduardo Delgado, and Pavel Gililov.
At the age of nine, she became one of the youngest recipients of the Licentiate in Music Australia (LMusA) Diploma with Distinction, one of the country’s most prestigious music qualifications, awarded by the Australian Music Examinations Board. She is a prizewinner of the Thailand Chopin International Piano Competition (Second Prize, 2023), the Indonesia International Piano Competition (Second Prize, 2024), and the International Chopin Competition in Szafarnia, Poland (2024).
Jacqueline appears regularly in solo recitals and performs with orchestras.
