Biography
Born in Zagreb, Croatia, in 2010, Andrija Bošković has studied at the Pavao Markovac Music School in Zagreb since 2018, where he is a pupil of Ivan Varošanec. He has participated in masterclasses with Natalia Trull, Ruben Dalibaltayan, Vincenzo Balzani, Daniil Tsvetkov and Lovro Marušić. He was awarded the Oscar of Knowledge, presented by the Croatian Ministry of Science and Education to the country’s most outstanding students.
Andrija is a three-time winner of the Croatian National Competition for Young Pianists (2021, 2023 and 2025). His recent achievements include First Prize at the International Piano Competition Memorijal Jurica Murai in Varaždin (2024), the Montenegro International Piano Festival in Kotor (2025), the Young Virtuosos Competition in Zagreb (2026), and the Lions Grand Prix Competition in Rijeka (2026), where he was also awarded the Grand Prix and the Audience Prize.
He was a finalist at the César Franck International Piano Competition in Brussels (2025), the International Competition for Young Musicians in Enschede (2026), and the International Piano Competition in Orbetello (2026).
