Biography
Lucas Chiche was born in Geneva, Switzerland, in 2011. He started to play piano at the age of 4 with Evgenia Pilyavina. Later he entered the Geneva Music Conservatory at the age of 6. He joined a special Musimax program for gifted children a year later. A student of Mladen Tcholitch, he has won many international and national competitions and played in different famous concert halls, including Carnegie Hall in New York and Victoria Hall in Geneva. In 2022, he became a finalist of the TV competition “Prodiges Saison 9” on France 2 national television. Lucas played with several orchestras, including CMG orchestra, Divertimento, and Orchestre de la Suisse Romande. He played chamber music with such renowned musicians as Denis Shapovalov, Igor Pykayzen, Lyda Chen-Argerich. Lucas has participated in many music festivals and summer academies, including Moscow Conservatory Summer School in 2021 and 2023. He took masterclasses with many renowned professors and pianists as Nelson Goerner, Elisabeth Leonskaja, Mira Marchenko, Prisca Benoit. He gave several solo recitals.
