Biography
Vladimir Rublev was born in 2011 in Sochi. He began his training in his hometown at the Extracurricular Activities Center and later attended the Shmelev Music School No. 1 (under Elena Gesina). Currently, he is a student at the Moscow Gnessin School of Music (under Boris Berezovsky). He is a scholarship holder from the New Names Foundation.
He emerged as the winner of the 13th Rachmaninoff International Youth Piano Competition in Novgorod (2022), where he was awarded a special prize for the best rendition of Rachmaninoff's composition. In 2023, he was awarded a diploma and a special prize from Denis Matsuev at the 19th Central Music School Competition Dedication to Sergei Rachmaninoff. Additionally, he secured the Bronze Nutcracker at the 24th Nutcracker International Competition for Young Musicians and reached the finals of the Blue Bird All-Russian Young Talent Show Contest.
Vladimir has participated in prestigious events such as Moscow Meets Friends Festival run by the Vladimir Spivakov International Charity Foundation and the International Music Academy at the 15th Yuri Bashmet's Winter International Arts Festival. He has performed with esteemed ensembles, such as Moscow Virtuosi Chamber Orchestra, Rachmaninoff Academic Symphony Orchestra (Tambov), as well as Moscow Philharmonic and Mariinsky Theatre orchestras.
