Kirill Rogovoi was born in 2007 in Ilovaisk, Donetsk Oblast. He began his musical training at the Ilovaisk School of Arts under the tutelage of A. Lagoda and later continued his studies at the Donetsk Republican Specialized Music Boarding School for Gifted Children (under Natalia Chesnokova). Since 2022, he has been a student at the Tchaikovsky Conservatory’s Central Music School and Academy of Performing Art (class of Natalia Trull).
Kirill has gathered acclaim as a laureate of regional, national, and international competitions. He has been a winner of the International Anton Rubinstein Competition Piano Miniature in Russian Music in St. Petersburg (2020, Grand Prix), and 1st prize winner at the Sempre Concept Competition in Saratov (2020), St. Petersburg in the Mirror of World Musical Culture (2021), White Lyre in Belgorod (2021), and Perelman Competition in St. Petersburg (2021), among others. In addition, he has held the Grand Prix at the Crimean Spring Competition in Yalta (2021), 3rd prize at the Rachmaninoff International Youth Piano Competition in Novgorod (2022), and Achievement Prize at the Vladimir Krainev Moscow International Competition of Pianists (2023).
Kirill Rogovoi has performed at the Moscow House of Music (with the National Philharmonic Orchestra of Russia under Ivan Nikiforchin), and the Grand Hall of the Moscow Conservatory. He has also participated in the Russian Piano School project.
