An Ye is from Shanghai, China and began his piano studies at age five. He began to perform in public soon after and is currently studying with Professor Christopher Zhong at the Music Middle School affiliated with the Shanghai Conservatory of Music (Elementary Department).
He has won Young Artist Award of the 10th GOCAA International Music Competition; 1st Prize of the USMCE Piano Open Competition; Grand Prix of the St.Petersburg International Music Competition; 1st Prize of the Chopin International Children’s Piano Competition, China Division; Grand Prix of the Magnolia International Music Festival Piano Competition. 
He has collaborated with Shanghai Philharmonic and Zhang Liang, and has performed publicly at the Shanghai Symphony Orchestra Concert Hall, Shanghai Conservatory of He Luting Concert Hall, Shanghai Grand Theatre, Shanghai Conservatory of Music Opera House, Qingdao Grand Theatre, Hefei Grand Theatre, and other venues.
