Biography
Born in 2009, Aitore Azamatuly started his musical training at the age of six. He attended the Prokofiev Children’s Music School No. 3 in Almaty (under Liudmila Smagulova) before being admitted to the Kulyash Bayseitova Republican Secondary Specialized Music Boarding School for Gifted Children (under Sholpan Karazhigitova).
He was the winner of the Kazakh national competition Prima Nota Fest run by Zarina Altynbayeva (2019), the Akhmet Zhubanov International Competition for Young Performers (2021), and the Russian FortFest international festival and competition in Moscow (2023). He took the 2nd place at the Astana Piano Passion international competition (2022) and the online Evsey Zinger Piano Competition West – Siberia – East in Novosibirsk (2023). He was a finalist of the 5th Fujairah International Piano Competition (UAE).
