The jury panel of the 4th International Grand Piano Competition has been announced

The performances of the participants in the 4th International Competition for Young Pianists Grand Piano Competition will be assessed by an international jury. Its members include Denis Matsuev (artistic director of the competition), Freddy Kempf (Honorary doctor of music at the University of Kent), Justus Frantz (Art Director of the Summer music forum Finca Festival Frantz & Friends), Maxim Mogilevsky (Director of the Nanjing Opera House, Honorary professor of Zhejiang University in Hangzhou), Valery Pyasetsky (Rector of the Central Music School – Academy of Performing Arts, Honored Artist of the Russian Federation, Professor, Knight of the Order of Merit in Culture and Art), Rena Shereshevskaya (Professor at the Normal School of Music in Paris, Chevalier de l’Ordre des Arts et des Lettres), Hideko Kobayashi (Professor at Tokoha University College in Shizuoka) and Vincenzo Balzani (Professor at the Accademia del Ridotto in Pavia).

The competition will take place from June 13 to 18 on the stages of the Tchaikovsky Concert Hall and the Concert Hall of the Central Music School — Academy of Performing Arts. The Grand Piano Competition gives young musicians under 16 years of age the opportunity to perform on the leading stages of Moscow with major orchestras and conductors, opens up prospects for a professional career and continues the traditions of the Russian piano school, helping to expand and strengthen international creative ties.
