The Grand Piano Competition is not only a contest but also an opportunity for creative communication with remarkable musicians.
Open master classes of jury members - Boris Petrushansky, Professor of the International Academy of Imola and Piotr Paleczny, Professor of the Fryderyk Chopin University of Music in Warsaw – were held during the Competition at the Chamber Hall of the Moscow Philharmonic. Seven students of music schools from Moscow, the Moscow region and Arzamas had an opportunity to attend the master classes.
The last day of the Competition was marked by a meeting with Pascal Escande, Jury Member of the Grand Piano Competition, President of Annecy Classic Festival, Founding President of the Piano Campus competition. He took questions from the audience and talked about the music education system in France, the significance of music competitions for the world today and assessment criteria, among other things.
