3rd International Grand Piano Competition for Young Pianists will be held in Moscow from April 30 till May 5, 2021. It was originally planned for May 2020, but due to the epidemiological situation, it was postponed to August 2020. However, taking care of the health of young participants and understanding the need for full-fledged classes during the preparation period, the Organizing Committee of the competition together with the Moscow Philharmonic decided to hold the 3rd Grand Piano Competition in spring of 2021.
Acceptance of applications for the competition has been extended until March 7, 2021. All applications submitted previously remain valid. The Organizing Committee draws attention to the fact that the contestants who submitted the application before July 1, 2020 retain the right to participate, even if they are 17 years old by the start of the 3rd Grand Piano Competition. For those who apply since July 1, 2020, a general rule applies: pianists up to and including 16 years of age are invited to participate in the competition.
